Cllr David Greenhalgh commented "What a turnout at the War Memorial! So heart-warming to see our community out in force for Remembrance Sunday this morning. Thank you from Norman, Nadim and myself to Carol, the Vicar, and wardens of Walmsley; Eagley Band and Paul Atherton and the marching band; the Army and Fire Service for leading the parade; our uniformed organisations; the Salvation Army bugler; and everyone who attended to make our community remembrance so special.
